Study of Pseudo-Random Number Generators with Feedback Shift Register

The object of this article is the development and study of properties of pseudo-random number generators with linear and nonlinear feedback shift registers. Assumptions are made about the retention of periodic properties when switching from linear to nonlinear feedbacks. This article discusses the use of stochastic adders and dynamically evolving substitution blocks in feedback circuit are considered. The statistical properties of generators of different architectures are analyzed. Solutions to improve statistical properties of pseudo-random number generators are proposed.
