Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to build Customer Engagement Tools for Instagram business accounts in promoting their products or services and in accordance with the target market. Online business owners and content creators generally realize the importance of social media, especially Instagram, in finding a target market that suits their products or content. Based on the questionnaire results from 30 respondents who have Instagram accounts for online businesses, they have difficulty finding the right way to promote services or products according to their target market and they do not have enough time to promote their products or services regularly on Instagram. So that the promotion carried out is not in accordance with the target market. In this research, by utilizing Instagram's Application Programming Interface (API), it can make it easier for business people to increase customer engagement according to their target market. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that Instagram customer engagement tools for business accounts can help increase visitor interaction (engagement) and increase followers on Instagram. It can also minimize user time to promote their products or services on Instagram.
