Study on High Voltage and High Power Converter System

With the continuous development of science and technology, a variety of large scientific devices have emerged, thus driving the traction transmission system to continue to develop in the direction of high voltage and high power. Traditional general purpose high voltage inverter can not meet the needs of development, so there are many specific converter system topologies. This paper not only analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the existing high voltage and high power converter system, but also focuses on the maglev traffic field, proposes an improved high voltage and high power traction converter system topology and modulation strategy, verifies its principle feasibility through simulation, and develops a principle prototype for test verification.
