Smart Indicator and Parking Identification in Two Wheelers

In this paper, we proposed and tested two related systems such as the Automatic Indicator System (AIS) and the No Parking Indication System (NPIS). Both systems play crucial roles in enhancing traffic management and ensuring road safety. The Automatic Indicator System (AIS) is a technology-driven solution designed to improve the efficiency and reliability of indicators on vehicles. Traditionally, drivers manually operate indicators to signal their intentions while changing lanes or making turns. However, human error or negligence can result in inaccurate or delayed signals, leading to potential accidents and confusion among other road users. The AIS aims to address these challenges by automating the indicator operation process and NPIS utilizes a network of sensors and intelligent signage systems strategically placed in parking areas, streets and relevant locations. These sensors detect the presence of vehicles in prohibited or limited parking zones and trigger the corresponding indicators. These indicators can be in the form of LED displays, flashing lights or electronic message boards, clearly conveying the no parking rules and informing drivers about alternative parking options. Together, the AIS and NPIS systems contribute to efficient traffic management, improved road safety and enhanced convenience for drivers. By automating the indicator operation process, AIS ensures timely and accurate signaling, reducing the risk of accidents and improving overall traffic flow. The NPIS helps prevent illegal parking and guides drivers to suitable parking alternatives, minimizing traffic disruptions and creating a safer environment for all road users.
