Learning Automata -Based RPL Routing Protocol for IoT with Mobility (LA -RPL - Mobility)

The Internet of Things, or IoT, is a technology that is transforming a number of distinct sectors. IoT networks frequently comprise a several internet enabled systems which runs on constraints, necessitating effective routing techniques to provide smooth communication. The Routing Protocol for Low-Power and Lossy Networks (RPL) has been a prominent choice for IoT routing due to its various constraints. However, the dynamic nature of IoT environments, characterized by mobile nodes, necessitates innovative solutions to acute the output of RPL. In this paper, the integration of Learning Automata (LA) into RPL routing protocol for IoT networks is done to level up the performance. The suggested integrated protocol primary goal is to optimize each packet delivery, reduce energy usage, and improve routing efficiency in mobile IoT applications.
