Marine Scene-Level Ship Matching Algorithm Based on Jilin-1 Data and AIS

The traditional ship matching algorithm between AIS(Automatic Identification System) and high spatial resolution satellite images cannot meet the target matching requirements of small ships. The research focuses on the segmentation of different scenes and ship matching algorithm under different scenes. A SSMA(scene-level ship matching algorithm) is proposed, which has an accuracy of over 85.5% when applied in Sanya Bay. The SSMA reduce the impact of AIS and satellite images errors on ship matching accuracy, and improve the engineering application capability.
