Measures to Improve the Pass Rate of Power Distribution Lines

The cable is a device that balances the forces of all aspects of the distribution line and resists wind pressure to prevent the toppling of the distribution line. The cables on the transmission and distribution lines are always protecting the safe and stable operation of the power grid. In the construction and maintenance work of the transmission and distribution lines, if the construction technology is not standard and the maintenance method is not correct, the line tilt and rod fall accidents will occur. Therefore, once the cables are damaged, the power grid accidents will be caused. It is very important to improve the pass rate of power distribution line. In this paper, through the investigation and analysis of the unqualified type of the cable once made, it is found that the key problem causing the low qualified rate of the cable once made of distribution lines is the large distance between the tongue plate and the strand. Based on the analysis of the main reasons, the measures of increasing the applying force and unifying and standardizing bending methods are put forward. The distance between the tongue plate and the steel strand is shortened effectively, and the pass rate of the power distribution line is increased, which provides the foundation for the safe and reliable operation of the power grid.
