Real-Time CCTV Face Recognition Model

Imagine a society where electronic devices are able to recognize and react to human faces instantly and in real-time. With the power of the FTDI programmer and the ESP32-CAM module, real-time face identification is made possible in this era of advanced technology, providing a creative solution for everything from surveillance systems to smart homes. The conventional security system requires manual labour to monitor it around-the-clock, which can be quite expensive and inefficient. Real-time CCTV facial recognition is at the forefront of cutting-edge surveillance technology in a time when security demands meet the limitless potential of artificial intelligence. This study presents a novel method for real-time face identification that makes use of IoT (Internet of Things) devices and sophisticated algorithms. The main objective of the paper is to provide a face monitoring system with minimum human intervention and low-cost surveillance facility. In this paper, we have used the ESP32 CAM Wi-Fi module with the OV2640 camera module for face recognition and decision-making. This technology provides security personnel with fast identification capabilities by seamlessly integrating with CCTV systems, enabling proactive threat detection, quick reaction, and unmatched public safety. Typically, the ESP32-CAM module is made for low-power applications. Real-time face identification techniques requiring a lot of processing power may have an impact on the device's overall battery life or power supply requirements.
