Mass-Exchange Processes in Emulsion Treatment with Demulsifier (Chemical Reagent)

The paper investigates the state of the art in technological processes of oil treatment at oil treatment units and refineries. These processes are characterized by a variety of technological schemes, implementation, measurement and control systems. The process designs of oil, gas and water collection and treatment are described. Existing automated modular demulsifiers are analyzed. The process design and the measurement and control system used are selected based on the physical and chemical characteristics of the raw stock and climatic conditions of oil treatment.
