Robust Full-Polarization Waveform Optimization Method for Radar Anti-Jamming

Among the various types of jamming, Interrupted Sampling Repeater Jamming (ISRJ) has a strong similarity with the transmitted signals in the time-frequency domain, which seriously affects the detection performance of the radar. In recent research, to achieve great anti-jamming performance, optimization methods are widely used to reduce the gain of jamming signals. However, most of these works have not fully utilized the polarization domain information. In this context, we consider optimizing the transmitted waveform from a full-polarization perspective for extended targets. Experiments have shown that the proposed method can better achieve a suppression effect on ISRJ in the wideband detection scenarios, while maintaining significant robustness to target characteristics as well.
