Single-Channel SAR Moving Target Detection Method Based on RPCA

Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional single-channel synthetic aperture radar (SAR) moving target detection, a single-channel SAR moving target detection method based on robust principal component analysis (RPCA) is proposed in this paper. Initially, the Doppler beam sharpening method is employed for swift, low-resolution imaging of SAR data. Subsequently, a low-rank and sparse decomposition framework is constructed by integrating the sub-aperture division method with the sparse characteristics of the moving target. RPCA is utilized to suppress background clutter, thereby effectively facilitating ground moving target indication (GMTI) in single-channel SAR mode. The effectiveness of the method is verified by the experimental data of the vehicle-mounted single-channel SAR-GMTI.
