Moving Target Detection Under Clutter Background of Airborne Non-Cooperative Bistatic Radar

Compared with the traditional monostatic radar system, the airborne non-cooperative bistatic radar system has advantages of strong anti-interference capability and less susceptibility to detection. The airborne receiver platform allows for a wider detection range and more convenient operations. The airborne non-cooperative bistatic radar system is affected by the clutter signal when conducting sea target detection. In this paper, a coordinate system with the baseline center as the coordinate origin and the baseline direction as the X-axis is established, and the expression of equation of bistatic equidistant ellipsoidal surface is obtained through coordinate transformation based on the geodetic coordinate system. Then, the clutter is simulated and analyzed according to the different yaw angle of receiver. Besides, an airborne non-cooperative bistatic radar signal processing system is designed by space-time adaptive processing based on 3DT. The results show that the system designed in this paper can filter out clutter and detect moving targets.
