Enhancing Healthcare System Evaluation Using Fuzzy AHP and Fuzzy TOPSIS

Healthcare systems face growing complexity and diversity, It involves effective evaluation methodologies. This paper utilizes Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy Technique for Order of Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to rank the healthcare system types assiduously. In this paper, we have focused on four key criteria that were chosen for their significance in shaping the quality of healthcare and its accessibility. These criteria were selected to assess the impact on the healthcare system's overall effectiveness, quality, and patient accessibility. Fuzzy AHP is used to provide the framework for prioritizing the criteria and Fuzzy TOPSIS is used to rank the overall performance of different types of healthcare systems. The purpose of this paper is to prioritize the criteria and provide effective that can help in future healthcare research. Ultimately, our aim is to improve patient well-being and the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery. From this research work it is observed that among all the 4 alternatives, single-payer system has got the more priority than the other alternatives with the closeness coefficient of 0.548.
