Perturbed Pentagon Patch MIMO Antenna for 5G Sub-6 GHz Operation

This paper presents a dual port sub-6 GHz antenna with Multiple-input Multiple-output (MIMO) technology. The overall dimension of MIMO antenna is
$20\text{mm}\times 40\text{mm}\times 1.5\text{mm}$
and is structured on FR-4 substrate. The 2-port antenna elements are positioned orthogonally to get an isolation below 20dB. The other MIMO parameters, such as diversity gain (DG), envelop correlation coefficient (ECC) and channel capacity loss (CCL) are estimated and the values are found in suitable limits.
