Review of the Solar Photovoltaic - Wind - Fuel Cell - Battery Hybrid System for Stationary Applications

Renewable energy sources have drawn more attention recently as a way to address issues brought on by the depletion of fossil fuels, to lessen the consequences of climate change, and to meet the expanding need for energy on a worldwide scale. The utilization of sustainable energy sources like solar and wind energy has been widely studied by the scientific community and remains an ongoing sector of investment and development for the industrial community. These sources need management strategies and storage systems that are adapted to their regional specificities and, most importantly, to regulate their intermittent nature in order to maximize their reliability and encourage a better balance between supply and demand. A comprehensive review of the literature was done for this essay on the solar photovoltaic - wind - Fuel Cell (FC) - battery hybrid system. Through the highlighted shortcomings, this document will be very useful to researchers in this field in the study of hybrid renewable energy systems.
