Hydrogen Storage Efficiency of LaNi3.6AL0.4Mn0.3Co0.7 Metal Hydride Powder

metallic powder have been investigated in order to explore temperature and pressure effects on its hydrogen absorption capacity. X-ray diffraction and FTIR spectroscopy analysis are performed to show the phase formation and the functional groups. Differential Scanning Calorimetry measurements are used to determine the specific heat capacity of the alloy. The reaction isotherms and the hydrogen absorption capacity were measured. The results show that the compound has excellent hydrogen absorption capacity were measured, with excellent hydrogen storage capacity. The highest hydrogen mass reported was 9.3 g/kg of metal hydride.
