Omnidirectional Microstrip Antenna in 920MHz Band for Ocean Wireless Sensor Network

In this paper, a low profile antenna is proposed for remote monitoring of offshore turbines. Simulation results show that 10dB-return loss satisfies the 920.6-928MHz of the specified low power base station. The radiation pattern is omnidirectional and the direction of the maximum radiation is in low elevation angle.
