Impact of Radio Wave Frequency on Heartbeat Radar Performance

This paper investigates the impact of radio frequency on the performance of heartbeat radar. Especially, the heartrate accuracy over the various radio frequencies, i.e., from 2 GHz to 40 GHz, was experimentally tested under the equal condition. Experimental results revealed that the heartbeat detection performance does not have obvious frequency dependency over the tested frequency band.
