Deep Learning Technique for Predicting Axillary Lymph Node Metastasis in Breast Cancer

Breast cancer has now become the leading cause of cancer-related mortality globally, surpassing lung cancer. Patients frequently present with axillary lymph node metastasis. The preoperative assessment of the status of axillary lymph nodes holds significant prognostic value. which has great influence on clinical treatment. This article reviews several mainstream non-invasive methods for predicting axillary lymph node metastasis. These approaches primarily utilize radiomics of medical images and deep learning techniques, with subsequent analysis conducted on the outcomes achieved by these methods. Finally, the current research status in this field is summarized, and the future development is prospected.
