Design of Step-by-Step Box Feeding Control System for Vacuum Reversion Machine

The feeding system of vacuum reversion machine frequently encounters failures, resulting in-often fails, leading unsuccessful feeding tobacco boxes. Consequently, when such malfunctions occur, a manual reset is essential, and the tobacco box feeding must be controlled manually. This not only hampers production efficiency but also elevates labor intensity. Therefore, in case of failure, it is required to reset and manually control tobacco box feeding, affecting the production efficiency and increases labor intensity. Based on failure analysis, in this paper, the mechanical model of the tobacco box is was hereby established by force analysis, the relative motion between the tobacco box and the transmission chain is was eliminated through mechanical analysis, and the load of the driving motor is was reduced. Through sensors and programmable controllers, box feeding rhythm is was controlled, and a new step-by-step box feeding control system was designed. Experiments revealed that, the system improved the success rate of the box feeding system and reduced the maintenance difficulty.
