Evolutionary Approach to Energy Transformation of Short Rectangular Pulse Radiated from Aperture

The transient electromagnetic wave energy conversion near an aperture radiator is investigated. The case of uniform distribution of current in form of rectangular pulse is presented for analysis. The analytical solution of the problem in time domain based on the evolutionary approach is used for analysis of wave energy transformation. The change of energy flux for different distances from source is calculated numerically. The expressions for total field energy which leaving the aperture, is obtained analytically. The problem of the wave energy concentration is discussed.
