Orbit Design and Analysis of Venus Exploration Mission Based on SAR

Venus and Earth are relatively similar in terms of orbital and planetary characteristics. In recent years, scientists have discovered through ground-based observations that there may be organisms in the atmosphere of Venus, and Venus's exploration has become one of the hot topics in international Deep Space exploration. The atmospheric density of Venus is high, making it difficult for spacecraft in orbit to obtain high-definition data through its atmosphere. This article discusses global exploration of Venus by loading high-resolution SR radar payload. In order to ensure sufficient dry weight of the payload, the orbit of the entire process of Venus exploration is optimized and calculated. It is proposed to use the atmosphere of Venus to assist in orbit reduction in order to reduce fuel consumption. The target orbit is designed as a frozen orbit to improve detection efficiency. The simulation results show that the proposed full process orbit design can successfully complete the Earth-Venus transfer and Venus's exploration tasks.
