A Design Method for MEO Spaceborne HRWS SAR System

In this paper, a system design method based on intra-pulse multiple frequency sub-pulse (MFSP) is proposed for a medium earth orbit (MEO) high resolution wide range (HRWS) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system. The method adopts the azimuth multi-channel and pitch multiple frequency/multi-beam system for 2-D deblurring, and, from the point of view of data processing, the system is further optimized to reduce the burden of storage and processing. On this basis, a complete system design scheme is proposed from the three aspects of orbit design, architecture design and parameter design. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is proved by comparative analysis and simulation.
