Equivalent Circuit Model of Hysteresis Motor Considering Magnetic Field Harmonics

Hysteresis motor has received extensive attention recently because of its excellent characteristics in some aspects. However, the nonlinear and multi-valued properties of hysteresis materials make the performance evaluation of hysteresis motors more complicated, and the previous calculation model based on elliptic approximation of hysteresis loops does not take into account the influence of harmonics and is not accurate enough. Based on the equivalent circuit model, this paper introduces the consideration of magnetic field harmonics, so as to improve the calculation accuracy of magnetic field distribution and steady-state torque. On this basis, the factors affecting the performance of hysteresis motor can be analyzed.
