Conceptual Database Framework for Multicriteria Decision of the Donations Logistics and Disasters Relief in Smart Environments

In earthquakes where large-scale destructions occur, there are problems in water and electricity distribution for a period of time. It is also known that even if mains water distribution is provided, water consumption is not reliable due to the destruction experienced. Especially for people who do not leave the earthquake zone for various reasons right after the earthquake, finding water and food is an important problem in the first days. In order to alleviate this problem, it would be a logical approach to keep a certain amount of aid parcels in earthquake zone settlements. However, in this case, the perishable nature of food and beverage items appears as an obstacle. In this study, both post-earthquake relief efforts and poverty aid efforts were combined through the preparation of aid boxes and the evaluation of the expiration dates of the materials and a conceptual framework that covers both poverty and disaster relief is proposed. A simulation study was conducted to illustrate the operability of the model.
