Design and evaluation of a simulation business management educational card game combined with dynamic feedback from mobile technology

This study proposes a business strategy educational board game that allows learners to break through the traditional business teaching and learning method by using market information, strategy analysis, situation impact and peer discussion designed in the game to achieve the learning goal of simulating real situations, reflection, and decision-making. The board game is integrated mobile technology with a dynamic feedback module using Google Sheet. The game provides online real-time statistics and comparisons to reduce the cognitive load and anxiety caused by tedious calculations in the simulation of business decision-making process. It also generates a dynamic capital trend chart, which allows learners to revise their strategic directions through the dynamic feedback mechanism to achieve the optimal business decision goals. The research results shows that the proposed method has achieved highly significant positive outcome in terms of game design mechanism, game acceptance, and experience of using the mobile technology dynamic feedback module.
