An online educational game integrating authentic space and simulated interactive mechanism for communication skills learning

This study developed an online educational game “Give me the water”, integrating authentic space and simulated interaction mechanism, to enhance learners’ communication skills in interpersonal relationships. We investigated the learners’ learning performance and flow as preliminary empirical research. The results showed that the learners’ performance was significantly improved after the game. In addition, learners also had a high level of flow status during the learning activity.
