Thermal fluid layer characterization in microfluidic systems

As handling of low fluid volumes becomes increasingly important, e.g. in medical and analytical applications, so does the significance of the related system characterization. In this paper we demonstrate an approach for the characterization of low volume fluid layers using thermal methods.
