LSTM and KNN: A Tool for Identifying Defects in Food

Additional caution is used to check for any defects or dangers in the final product. The HACCP system is now mandatory for usage in any Polish business that deals with food preparation. The system is conceptualized as a global vaccination with the ability to halt the spread of dangerous risks or significantly reduce them to acceptable levels. Deficiencies are either not allowed or never show up, and the former is the norm. On the other hand, results-based evidence shows that this is not the case. In this proposed approach to look into efforts to apply methods more commonly used in the automotive industry to the food processing business. Preprocessing, segmentation, feature selection, and model training make up the first four steps of the proposed technique. Noise removal and image enhancement are used in the preprocessing of images. The split process is utilized in segmentation. To select features, they employ a co-occurrence matrix with gray values. After features are selected, LS TM-KNN is used to train the models. The proposed method outperforms KNN and LS TM, the two most popular alternatives.
