Analysis Method for Carbon Emission Sharing of New Energy Sources in Different Regions

As the “Dual Carbon” goal is being promoted, more and more renewable energy power sources are being integrated into the power grid. Renewable energy generation itself has no carbon emissions cost, but the power delivered to users from renewable energy sources may cause changes in power loss in the grid and lead to additional carbon emission costs. Therefore, when the same user purchases electricity from renewable energy plants in different geographical locations, the resulting carbon emission costs should be reasonably shared among different renewable energy sources and load transactions. So, a principle is proposed that the carbon emission responsibility for the same load should be evenly distributed among different geographical locations of renewable energy sources and load transactions. A power loss sharing method for different electricity transactions for the same load is designed, and the ETA algorithm is used to study the precise sharing and comparative analysis of power loss caused by corresponding transaction contracts from renewable energy sources from different geographical locations for the same load demand. As a result, the carbon emission responsibility that all of the user’s electricity transaction contracts should bear is obtained. By analyzing examples, the rationality and correctness of this method have been verified.
