Real-time Demand Response Strategy for Massive User Participation Based on Genetic Algorithm and ADMM

With the development of society, the consuming of electricity is increasing and the problem of electricity peak arise. Demand response (DR) is a program that arouse users' interest to encourage them to alleviate electricity. However, when the sharp peak comes, the real-time DR strategy must be generated quickly to meet the requirements of shaving peak immediately. This article proposed an architecture allowing massive user to participate in real-time DR. Furthermore, the real-time economic dispatch problem concerning real-time DR is solved by Genetic algorithm (GA) and power disaggregation is solved by ADMM to improve the solving speed. Case analysis shows the feasibility of proposed method.
