Numerical Simulation Evaluation of Solar Radiation on Solar Power Station in Yangjiang

Based on the mesoscale model in GuangDong, which is belong to China Meteorological Administration (hereinafter referred to as CMA-GD model), this paper conducted a forecast test on the total solar radiation in Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province for four typical months in 2022. The forecast capability of this test on the total solar radiation from different perspectives is evaluated by using statistical methods based on the time-by-time total solar radiation observations of five photovoltaic power stations in Yangjiang. The results show that the overall simulation effects are good. The correlation coefficients between 24-hour forecast and observation of solar radiation in Yangjiang City in 2022 are between 0.82-0.86. And the differences between 48-hour and 24-hour forecasts are insignificant. Among the typical months, the correlation coefficients in October is the best (0.87
