Research on Insulator String Status Diagnosis Method Based on Multi-parameter Composite Perception

The non-contact detection of insulator string status is an important component of intelligent substation inspection. To achieve intelligent perception and diagnosis of insulator strings in ultra-high voltage transmission lines, a multi-parameter composite perception based method for diagnosing the status of insulator strings in ultra-high voltage transmission lines is proposed, which is based on infrared images, flexible temperature sensor data, flexible pin pressure sensor data The characteristic values of leakage current (including effective value, maximum value, ratio of third harmonic to fundamental amplitude, total harmonic distortion rate), relative environmental humidity, and other multimodal data are used to comprehensively diagnose the status of insulator strings. The test results show that the diagnosis method can diagnose the defects and faults such as insulator string pin separation, abnormal heating at the connection and the body, insulator pollution, and realize the comprehensive state evaluation of insulator strings.
