Abstract:
Plastic has become one of the most important basic materials in human society construction and development, with its applications spanning almost all industrial and civil fields. Approximately 80% of plastic production involves the crucial manufacturing process of screw extrusion. As a piece of key equipment in cable production lines, the extruder machine directly influences the performance and quality of extruded products through its temperature control efficiency. It is of utmost importance for improving product output and quality. This paper focuses on the control of the barrel temperature parameter in extrusion machines. The main content of this paper includes the analysis of the principles advantages and disadvantages of traditional linear PID controllers. Based on this analysis, an expert PID control scheme is proposed, and a high-precision expert PID controller is designed. Furthermore, various selection schemes for the components of the current extruder temperature control system are analyzed, and the characteristics of different optional schemes are compared to determine the composition of the temperature control system components. The practical results demonstrate that the expert PID controller exhibits significantly better control performance for temperature objects compared to traditional linear PID control methods, with improved robustness and adaptability.
