Pulse-Related Distance Measurement Method

Recently, Laser distance measurement technology has become much more developed, with the evolution of laser technology. Laser distance measuring equipment are also advancing in the direction of miniaturization, low power consumption and high accuracy. They are widely used in transportation, industry, military, aviation, aerospace and etc. In order to fulfill the requirement of miniaturization of laser distance measuring system, the energy of the emitted laser is inevitably reduced. To avoid influencing the measuring capability when using low-energy lasers, this research presented a pulse-related distance measurement method. It can effectively improve the measuring capability of micro-Joule laser with a low power consumption. Achieve the same effect on large targets (buildings, etc.) with the same effect as conventional high energy laser distance measuring equipment.
