Multi-channel modulator data bus polling design based on quality of service

The multi-channel modulator mentioned in this paper can simulate the telemetry and forwarding work of multiple target aircraft, and the data transmission and control of each channel are independent of each other. Changing the data transmission state of one channel does not affect the processing and transmission of other data. The multi-channel modulator terminal reads the analog data of each channel, sends it to each channel respectively, completes the processing of data scrambling, coding, spread spectrum, modulation and amplitude adjustment, synthesizes the multi-channel modulation signal for D/A transformation, and outputs the IF signal. Since each channel of the multichannel modulator is completely independent, the multichannel modulator realizes the multichannel modulator function on a set of hardware equipment, and the hardware resource occupancy is high. How to solve the time-sharing multiplexing problem of the functional module or bus with high resource occupancy is the design focus of the multichannel modulator. This paper proposes an arbitration mechanism based on Quality of Service (QOS) to reuse data bus and function modules. Using the combination of hardware interrupt and software request, the weight of each channel is calculated according to the data rate and other information of each channel. The calculated weight is compared with the set threshold to determine the priority of each channel, and the bus determines which channel to send data according to the priority. This method uses the network model to solve the problem of time-sharing and multiplexing of hardware function modules and data bus, so as to improve the utilization rate of hardware resources. At the same time, several problems that may occur in practical work are put forward, and corresponding solutions are given. The method has been applied in practical engineering, and the actual work proves that the method is stable and reliable.
