Factors that Influence Innovation Acceptance on Bioactive Paper for Fruit Shelf Life Extension

Bioactive paper is an innovation that slows down the bacterial growth of vegetables and fruits. This innovation has not been used widely. Therefore, this research paper studies factors influencing user acceptance of Bioactive papers. A qualitative method was used, and the samples were divided into consumers and entrepreneurs. Purposive sampling was used to select a group of participants who met the needs of the research. Consumers and entrepreneurs were given Bioactive papers to try for 14 days. The survey results revealed that consumers and entrepreneurs agreed that innovations could be used but could not accept the purchase due to the innovation's limited uses. Therefore, the suggestion is that innovation should be brought back to improve and develop. To be able to meet the needs of consumers better than ever for the acceptance of future innovations.
