Effect of multi-energy storage systems on improving the synergy of integrated energy system

In the context of energy shortage and environmental pollution problems, the integrated energy system is important for achieving energy transition and reducing carbon emissions, but the synergy between different energy systems can affect the operation of the integrated energy system. This paper proposes a method to improve the synergy of the integrated energy system by using multiple energy storage. The synergy evaluation indexes are constructed, which include the economy of integrated energy system operation, the amount of consumed new energy, and the amount of supplied load power. The case analysis shows that the multiple energy storage systems can improve the synergy, the energy utilization efficiency, and the economy of system operation.
