Low Computational Burden Based Multi-Step Model Predictive Current Control for Induction Motors

The paper adopts spherical interpretation multistep model predictive control technology to reduce the computational burden and improve the control performance. Firstly, based on strict theoretical reduction, the multistep current predictive model of induction motors is established. Then, according to the control objectives of inverters, cost function is obtained. Considering the uniqueness of the solution, the cost function optimization process turns to mathematical problems of integer quadratic programming with constraints. Lastly, algorithm computational efficiency and control performance of the algorithm are verified on test platform.
