Study on Power Output Characteristics of Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Array with Parameter Variations

Piezoelectric energy harvesting possesses multiple advantages, including simple structure, easy integration, and the ability to easily convert mechanical energy from the environment into electrical energy. The basic principles, working mechanisms, mechanical structures, and equivalent circuit models of piezoelectric energy harvesting arrays are elaborated upon, and the derivation of equivalent circuit parameters and power is conducted. Furthermore, the maximum power matching resistance for this piezoelectric sensor model is determined, and the sources of micro differences between piezoelectric components, including amplitude, phase, and frequency, are discussed. The research results show that small frequency differences have a significant impact on the power output of piezoelectric parallel arrays, leading to a decrease in their output.
