Global path planning method for mobile vehicles based on Goal-Optimized JPS algorithm

The Jump Point Search algorithm (JPS) lacks goal direction guidance during search, resulting in increased redundant nodes and decreased computational efficiency. This paper proposes a Goal-Optimized JPS algorithm that constructs search direction priorities based on the direction vector of the goal point, while improving the cost function. The experimental results show that compared to the traditional JPS algorithm, the path obtained by Goal-Optimized JPS algorithm is shorter and the calculation time is reduced by more than 30%.
