Voltage and Active Power Control in a Grid Connected Photovoltaic System Considering Maximum Power Point Tracking Using the ANFIS Controller

This paper introduces a new approach for simultaneously controlling voltage and active power in a photovoltaic (PV) system connected to a standard 13-bus distribution network. The approach takes into account the system's maximum power point tracking (MPPT). The suggested controller is divided into AC and DC components. The boost converter is used in the DC part to track the PV system's maximum power. Subsequently, the maximum power is injected into the local distribution network in a manner that enables control over voltage and frequency within the distribution network's limits. To achieve this, a power balance between the DC and AC parts is maintained in a two-stage PV configuration using a fuzzy neural controller, which was previously overlooked in other studies. In this study, we investigate power-voltage (P-V) control in MPPT mode. The simulation results on the 13-bus network demonstrate the effectiveness and success of the proposed method.
