An Numerical Simulation of Active Control Method of Underwater Propeller Low-frequency Radiated Noise

An active noise reduction method for low frequency linear spectrum radiated noise of propeller is proposed. By placing secondary sound source and hydrophone around propeller, active noise reduction is carried out according to acoustic interference principle and adaptive filtering algorithm. In this paper, the numerical calculation results of near-field and far-field radiated noise of propeller based on Suboff model are used to verify that the method can achieve the noise reduction effect of low-frequency line spectrum noise. Moreover, by comparing the placement positions of different secondary sound sources and hydrophones, the layout scheme of active control system is preliminarily proposed.
