Influence of phase nonreciprocity on self-starting oscillator with cavity formed by population grating

Summary from only given. We present the results of theoretical and experimental investigation of the influence of phase nonreciprocity on characteristics of the self-starting holographic laser based on a Nd:YAG laser crystal with an amplitude-reciprocal cavity. The goal of this study is to verify the theory of the self-starting lasers and search for an optimal scheme of the laser.
