Large-scale Air Purifier System with Intelligent Sensor Frequency Conversion Control

Due to the increasing air pollution and its harm to the environment caused by industrial activities, daily life and people’s health are threatened seriously. The air cleaner is used to purify air at home. With increasing awareness of environmental problems, people pay attention to the prevention and treatment of air pollution in large-scale indoor areas such as shopping malls, department stores, hospitals, and factories, However, there are few large-sized air cleaners, and they are only used to purify air not monitoring and controlling the parameters of environmental pollution. S sensor, and total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) sensor, the proposed air cleaner was used to increase the air delivery rate by controlling the speed motor with an inverter. In large indoor areas, a dual-port multi-wing blower motor was used to increase the air exchange capacity of the air cleaner. A touch screen was employed to allow for the intuitive controls of the air cleaner. Three control modes such as automatic, manual, and timer modes were provided according to the user's needs. Experiment results showed that the proposed air cleaner effectively filtered dust and removed chemical gases, odors, bacteria, and other pollutants, which led to preventing indoor air pollution.
