Automatic Pathway Diverter for Conveyor in Packing Section of Cement Factory

Packed cement bags from the rotary electronic packer lead to the two branches of conveyor belts to load the cement bags on the truck with various vehicle capacities or customer demands. A diverter in the midway of the conveyor path directs the cement bag to the appropriate conveyor branch for filling the trucks in the loading area. The operator needs information from the external person to track the truck space, customer demand or count. Automation to this unit at the preliminary prototype level for diverting the cement bags from the common conveyor path to branches of the conveyor belt attempted to load the exact count of cement bags according to the appropriate truck capacity using an infrared sensor placed in the branches of the conveyor belt loading the truck.
