Design and Development of a System to Control and Monitor the Atmospheric CO and CO2 in Traffic Junctions Using IoT

At present time, air pollution leads to many critical challenges. The equilibrium of the natural environment has been distressed by human activities such as rapid industrialization, quick urbanization, rapid population expansion, dramatic increases in the number of automobiles on the road, and other activities. It alters the climate's quality and change in the climate is a result of the build-up of atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases. Global warming brought on by greenhouse gas emissions is one of the biggest environmental issues in our planet. A vital environmental component called carbon dioxide is warming the surface of the world. It is a difficult task to monitor and manage these changes in order to preserve our ecosystem. A more desired and efficient solution using preventative and control technology to regulate CO2 emissions at their source over the long term. The main objective and purpose of this research work is to control and monitor the CO and CO2 emission using NodeMCU with the help of IoT module to communicate the above parameter using wireless and the automatic buffering system which help to dilute the harmful gas at instantly. Air quality sensor is fixed in both inlet and outlet of the tube to monitor the CO2 level. IoT device is fixed to display the inlet and outlet of the carbon dioxide level.
