Enterprise Modeling for Improving Company Core Busiess Using Business Process Re-Engineering

One of the car rental companies in Indonesia offers vehicle rentals to companies, individuals, bus services, motorbike rentals, and professional driver services, which are its core businesses. They are exploring information systems to enhance business operations and customer contentment within Indonesian car rental enterprises. This paper aims to identify gaps in existing processes and propose a re-engineered process model using the E-Form Information System. This research uses Business Process Reengineering (BPR) to analyze and design workflows and offers five components for the company model. The article also discusses the need for core business process improvement in rental companies to prevent customer data leakage. It presents a fishbone analysis to identify the factors that cause this risk. This investigation uses descriptive-qualitative research methods and data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and literature studies. The analysis uses a fishbone diagram to identify the root cause of the problem and improve the business process. The results proposed five components for the enterprise model: customer process, customer service, Transaction Verifier, Master Data Verifier, and User Management Verifier. The article concludes by emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement and future research is proposed to build a more integrated system for business process improvement.
