Multi-Objective Optimal Allocation Method Considering the Difference of Access Types of Distributed Generation

In recent years, power electronics technology has developed rapidly, and distributed generation (DG) based on it has been widely developed. As the main application scenario of DG, the DG permeability of the distribution network has increased. The improvement of power quality and energy structure puts forward higher requirements for the siting and sizing of DG in the distribution network. To solve this problem, considering the difference of DG access types, a multi-objective optimization model with system investment cost index, voltage over-limit index, and system active network loss index as objective functions are constructed. Firstly, considering the difference in access types of DGs such as photovoltaic (PV) power generation, gas turbine, and fuel cell, the model of different DG access to distribution networks is constructed. Secondly, a parameter adaptive improved particle swarm optimization (IPSO) algorithm is proposed, and its advantages in speed and accuracy are verified by optimizing the Rosenbrock function. Finally, based on the IEEE 33-node distribution system, under different permeability backgrounds. The conventional method and the proposed method are used to determine the siting and sizing of DG. The results show that the proposed method has better performance and wider applicability than the conventional method.
