Study on De-Icing Technology of High Altitude Wind Power Transmission Line

Wind power accounts for a higher and higher proportion in the power grid, but the high-altitude wind power trans-mission line is easy to be covered with ice in winter, which leads to the risk of inverted pole breaking of wind power transmission line. This paper studies the anti-freezing and thawing of 110kV wind power transmission line wire and ground wire. In this paper, taking the 110kV wind power delivery line as the research object, the topological structure of the ice melting device is studied, and the anti-freezing and thawing schemes of wire and ground wire are designed respectively. finally, the engineering application is carried out successfully. the main conclusions are as follows: the thyristor and IGBT structure have the disadvantages of large harmonic content and small capacity. The diode type has the advantages of simple structure, convenient operation and maintenance, large capacity and easy to realize. Aiming at the diode structure, a DC ice melting device is designed; the conductor and ground wire can use the diode DC ice melting device to melt ice, and the ground wire can also cancel the ground wire and install a large current lightning protection insulator. The fusion mode of wire and ground wire has been successfully applied in Guizhou 110kV radar line. Canceling the operation mode of ground wire has been successfully applied in Hunan 110kV Furong mountain Wind Power Plant. This study can provide theoretical and practical guidance for anti-freezing and thawing of wind power delivery lines and ground wires.
